Response to Hello David.  It is possible to transition to a higher total horsepower motor without changing the entire pump.  Increasing the horsepower of the motor would necessitate a change in the impeller and possibly the diffuser.  Note;  the total horsepower (THP) rating of a motor is the product of the horsepower (HP) times the Service Factor (SF).  HP and SF information is located on the motor label.  Example:  Your 3/4 horsepower motor may have a SF of 1.27 = .95THP  (1 HP)  You may already have a 1 THP, in which case you may wish to upgrade to a 1.5 THP motor.  Attached please find an exploded parts diagram for the Dura-Glas Pump.  Matching the motor (key 1) to the impeller (key 10) and the diffuser (key 11) add the GOKIT and the project has the necessary parts.  Sta-Rite Dura-Glas
