Response to Hi, Dan. This Illuminator outdoor rating is IP67 and operating temperature is 14°F to 176°F. Which means that it's protected from dust and capable of withstanding water immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter for 30 minutes and can withstand temperatures of  14°F to 176°F. I wuld recommend that you bring it in during the winter in Boston.
