Response to The SF (or service factor) when multiplied by the HP (or horsepower) will determine the true HP of your motor, but has no bearing on efficiency per say. For example, if you have a 1.5HP motor with a 1.0SF, you have a true 1.5HP motor. If you have a 1.5HP motor with a 1.1SF, you have a true 1.65 motor.
