Response to My old pool motor seized, (sta-rite supermax 1hp. PHK2RA6E-102L) when i asked for a quote from the pool co, I have been using for years to replace got quoted $1,468.00 I said no and found a replacement for $145.00 and will install myself, so my question is when installing my new motor (AO smith usq1102 type b) can I take the parts off my old pump, since the impeller and diffuser are in great condition?
