Response to Hello Ed, MIL designated liners are 6-12% thicker than a Gauge designated liner for the same number. For example, a 25 MIL liner is about 12% thicker than a 25 Gauge liner. So if you are going from a 20 to a 30MIL you are adding .030 inch instead of having a .020 inch for a 20 MIL.
