Response to I have a Hayward ECOSTAR pump. The drive (controller) has failed (2nd time) and I'd like to replace the 3-phase motor with a 2-speed motor and use a combination of a T106/T104 mechanical timer to control the 2 speed motor. Is there a motor I can use with the ECOSTAR wet end? I understand I may need a new impeller and other parts. I already have the timers and a sub-panel that delivers 240 Volts 1-phase power. Just trying to avoid replacing the wet end unless this is not economical.
