Response to Several years ago, the motor on my old Hayward Super II pump. I bought a HAYWARD SUPER II PUMP 1 HP model SP3007X10AZ, not realizing at the time that the 1 HP motor was too underpowered for my 25,000 gallon pool with roughly 196 feet of head. Now that motor has burned up, and, I want to replace it with a more powerful motor, mounted on my existing pump housing. Is this the motor I need, and, will I need a kit in order to adapt it to this housing. If not, which motor/kit do I need? Thanks.
