Response to Hi Michael, You can unplug the cell then press the diagnostic button. The PCB should read 77. If this is the case, verify that the water is not above 140 degrees (solar possibly on). If the water is not that warm, the cell will need to be replaced. The PCB would need to be replaced only if the temp still read hot after unplugging the cell and cycling through the diagnostics. This would be an extremely rare seen problem.
