Response to 10k gallon pool. Currently I have a Jandy phpm2.0 pump and 2.0hp motor, I fear the pump might have too high a flow rate? I replaced a Jandy cl460 with the hayward s244t2 (using 200lbs zeolite sand). My clean pressure runs about 16-18psi on the new hayward (10-12psi was normal clean on the jandy). The pressure gauge needle jitters and it's causing my rigid pvc pipes on the return side to vibrate. The one good thing, my water has never been cleaner. Any suggestions are appreciated.
